My GS500R
 

Hello everyone

My name is Juliano, i'm from Brazil, and I have a forum about the Suzuki GS500 named GS500 Online (http://www.gs500online.com.br) a couple of members here from gs-500.de posted there their bikes, so i want to post mine here :D

It's a yellow GS500E 2002 transformed into a GS500R, it has Navarone inox exhaust system, K&N filter and Dynojet stage 1.

kann ich das heck auch an meine 96er gs bauen ohne probleme, weil müste man ja dann nich einragen wenne s ein orginal teil ist?? oder ist das heck geändert??

I needed to translate what you said in Google Translator and it was not very clear, but i think you said something about that you changed the back of your GS without problems, actually, i have the option to change mine too, but i think it's really nice in the way it is, it's modded but still can see it is a GS500, i love it :D

I think it's nice too, but ride in raining days is just a mess, i had one of these installed at another bike, but i needed to return to the original becouse a police officer that told me to do it :?

yeah, that is what I thought about! I would look for another one anyways which is allowed maybe you find one which is looking better than the original one (which should not be too hard ^^)
Maybe one like this if this is one is not similar to the one you had on your bike...

Frika: That was not exactly the same as this one, but has the same system of fixation, actually here in Brazil, I don't know if at Germany you have this problem, Police Officers causes trouble becouse the number plate light, it have to have a light iluminating it, so I do prefer to leave it as it are, specially becouse raining days, you know.

GS-Noob: Yeah... this is a bit anoying but not that much, always after to wash the bike I spend some time waxing the paiting, it helps a lot.

I thought about to use some white leds to iluminate it, but i don't want to cut the original electric wires. About the R fairing, i don't think it exists as a original model, mine is made in fiberglass and the headlight is from the Honda Falcon. This R model costs 900 Dollars, but i don't even imagine the costs to ship it to Europe, i know that there is a guy at Tenerife using one of these R fairings, but you can take a look at http://www.mmotos.com to see the models.

hmn..keine ahnung, aber ich könnt mir vorstellen, dass die vvk bald vllt von nem anderen hersteller (zb. gimbel) auf den europäischen markt gebracht wird...
is ne schicke sache, obwohl das cockpit ja fast schon etwas "hineingebastelt" wirkt..

Wenn du allerdings jemanden in Brasilien kennst, kannst du sie dir schicken lassen. Die kostet zwischen 2500 $R (rund 856 €, Komplettkit ab Bj. 2001) und 1000 $R (rund 343 €, Teilkit, auch für Bj <2001) - für D zuzüglich Fracht und Zoll :wink:

Wobei wohl noch nicht ganz klar ist, ob der Scheinwerfer bei uns auch zugelassen ist...

Wenn man den Aufwand betreibt, eine VVK extra aus Brasilien zu importieren, kann auch noch ein Lichgutachten erstellen lassen oder die Frontmaske auf einen anderen Scheinwerfer anpassen (lassen)... :lol: :lol: :wink: :roll:

Wenn man die Fotos sieht glaubt man, die kommen aus dem "GS-Schlaraffenland" :wink:
Was kostet so eine Verkleidung denn ? Hat vielleicht jemand sowas gebraucht ?

Hätte da mal eine vielleicht dumm erscheinende Frage (wobei..mir wurd mal gesagt es gebe keine dummen Fragen,nur dumme Antworten :mrgreen: ). Und zwar das angesprochene "Teilkit"..wie hab ich das zu verstehen?
Also die Front hat es mir ziemlich angetan und auch wenn es unrealistisch ist dass ich sie mir importieren lasse, interessiert mich was genau ein Teilkit ist.
Danke schonmal und sorry dass ich hier den Totengräber spiele für den thread ;)

spätestens, wenn du die verkleidung in den fingern hälst und versuchst sie anzupassen, bist du am verzweifeln.

nen passenenden scheinwerfer zu finden ist da noch das kleinste problem :mrgreen:

Das Teilekit heißt jetzt Front-Kit und beinhaltet VVK, Windschutzscheibe, Frontlampe, Haltersatz, Handlebar und Spiegel. Es gibt auch einen neuen Preis: 1000 $.
