Another problem may be due to a proxy or firewall that a network administrator installs. In that case, you may try to select a specific port from the Setting dialog box. Consult your network administrator to find out which port might be open for outgoing traffic.
In some networks, the proxy or firewall is configured in such a way that ICQ2Go! cannot connect. In such cases, you may try to use ICQ Pro or other ICQ products.
