2001+ sitzbank auf 89-200

Hallo Leute,

I won't insult you with my german so i write this in englisch (hope thats ok).

My seat has been cut and beyond repair. I'm was wondering if an 2001+ seat would fit my 1993 model?

For example this one:

If that's not possible does anybody else have an solution? I.e. remove the foam and put gel into it and put new molding on it? Where can i get the molding?

I would repair the old seat. That's cheaper.
And the new seat (2001+) doesn't fit without modifications.

And do you know where to get a new holding/cover from? Because the current one is cut and can't be repaired.

where do you come from? a saddler could fix your problem. or even it's cheaper to buy an old "new" seat in this board.

A used "Sitzbank" is definitely cheaper than a new one and - of course - seats offered in this forum mostly are cheaper than bidding on ebay.
You may either ask for it in the "wanted (http://forum.gs-500.de/forumdisplay.php?f=51)" section or check all offered parts (http://forum.gs-500.de/forumdisplay.php?f=107). Even if seats aren't offered, feel free to ask for it. Nobody will decapitate you for a simple question. ;-) :crafty:
