Hi people , please forgive me for posting in English, my German is not very good at all :D
Just a quick message to say that http://www.gs-500.de is a superb site and gallery has been a source of inspiration for many of us UK modders 8) Now to get to the point , i have been following Jim's crazy Bandit 1200 swingarm mod ( awesome job ) but i am intrigued as to how he has got around the problem of aligning the primary sprocket to the rear sprocket , can somebody explain how this was possible , some photos would be awsome too , thanks alot guys 8) Keep up the great work Verdi and the members of http://www.gs-500.de 8) Lev http://www.gs500e.co.uk |

Hi Lev,
at the picture you can see 2 sprockets. The one on the left side is a "Offsetsprocket" and at the right a orig. Sprocket. Pic: http://www.gs-500.de/modules/mx_albu...php?pic_id=928 Another Pic: http://www.gs-500.de/modules/mx_albu...php?pic_id=929 |
Ahhh , now i understand , thats very clever , where did you obtain that sprocket Jim?

no problem for the Pics. The Offsetsprocket is from Krüger&Junginger Germany. http://www.motorradschwingen.de Price: 90Euro |
Thank you Jim 8) , not that i would want the headache of changing the swingarm at this time  but did the swingarm take much machining/altering to fit into the GS frame ?
