small windshield don't help much if you ride in normal position. but when i lay on the tank on my bike, there's absolutly no wind behind it and it's real quite too. and it looks cool, but thats my opinion. if you going to ride lots of highway kilometers I wouldn't buy a small windschiend but a big one or a fairing (vollverkleidung)
